About the Studio:
Office of Tangible Space is an interdisciplinary design studio founded by Michael Yarinsky and Kelley Perumbeti, specializing in architecture, interiors, furniture and curation. The studio is marked by the idea that modernism should have warmth and materiality; while seeking aesthetic appeal, its output endeavors to prompt viewers and users to take notice, to feel something. In their work, Office of Tangible Space hopes to capture the art of simplicity and beauty in materials to create cohesive wholes. The intentionality in each detail allows for moments of engagement and opportunities for social gathering in a thoughtful environment. Restraint in design elements strengthens the feeling of comfort and contentment in the space. It evokes a desire to stay, and to focus on the things that matter. Office of Tangible Space prides itself in a design approach that is foremost and fundamentally human-centric.
