About the Work:
For the Birds is a way for us to invite some of the natural world back into the unnatural desert of the city. By offering bird houses, we take a step towards regaining some of the original soundscape of the northeastern area. Using three tall, traditional home shapes with skewed angles, For the Birds commands an unexpected perspective on the image of home. 


About the Studio:
Bailey Fontaine is a designer who focuses on the implication, application and potential of materials through intense iteration and experimentation. Finding beauty in the deliberately unrefined, Fontaine maintains an open collaboration with the mediums in which he works.
